Just to note, I did notice that the eigenvectors in python are normalized and along the columns while in Mathematica they are typically not and along the rows so that is not the reason. I know that Mathematica is much better suited for symbolic mathematical expressions so because it is not rounding, would that cause a discrepancy?.The matrix is a 26 x 26 would the large size of the matrix cause there to be some difference in computation between two?.I had 2 thoughts and was wondering if they are correct: The eigenvalues were not off by too much but the eigenvectors ended up being quite different. However, I ended up getting different eigenvalues and eigenvectors between the two.
